Benefits of CHADIS for Families

As you may be aware, there is increased recognition within the Pediatric community that early diagnosis and treatment of health, developmental and behavioral issues in children and adolescents is extremely beneficial in successfully dealing with them. Many organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, now recommend using pre-visit screening tools to assist with early identification.

CHADIS was conceived with this in mind by two respected, experienced Pediatricians working with a team of highly-trained technical, research and support specialists with the goal of providing better care and support to patients and their families.

Participating with CHADIS by taking the online questionnaires specific to your child:
•	Helps families communicate their top concerns to the Pediatrician while simultaneously having the Pediatrician directed to other issues that may be present
•	Assists the Pediatrician in choosing the best available resources such a support centers and mental health professionals drawn from a vast array of outside resources
•	Highlights informational handouts that the Pediatrician feels may be beneficial to families
•	Fosters communication among families and all involved parties by capturing everyone's input, thereby promoting the exchange of concerns, ideas and information to achieve the best coordinated care
•	Follows the recommended American Academy of Pediatricians guidelines for screening and comprehensive care, promoting valid screenings and evidence-based recommendations

CHADIS has been chosen as part of the "Pediatric Office of the Future" by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
